Contest Entry: Up for hire

I spent way too much time on this omg

is having a little contest, featuring her OC, Francesca (right), who is looking to hire someone to work in her little cafe.

I flipped through all of my OCs and decided that Aviva (left) was definitely the best fit for the job~

Aviva is a this weird hybrid of lively and mellowed out haha she's very cheerful, and always a pleasure to be around. She has a very nonchalant, go-with-the-flow kind of personality. She has great patience and loves learning new things. She got really into tea when she started university, due to its calming effects lol
Right now she works at her parents' restaurant, and she has for most of her life. That's why she wants to work with Francesca-- because she's never really worked anywhere else and because she wants to kind of get away from her parents for a bit. They're nice people, they're just really overbearing. 

So here I just have a depiction of what probably started out as an interview and ended up with Franka showing Viv a catalogue of herbs and teapots haha
I think they'd get along really well

I think I like this piece, but I'm really skeptical about the shading :/ I don't know what it is about shading, but I can never quite seem to get it right...
